The Lacrosse Program, coordinated by Coach Jason Pragle and assisted by ACS Varsity Players, carries on a mutually beneficial relationship between the NRD and the TB of >10 years...The program includes: face-offs, passing, shooting, and concludes with fun-filled games!          Grades K-3 will practice/play on Saturdays from 12-1:30pm.          Grades 4-8 will practice/play on Thursdays from 7-9pm.Program terms: Grades, times, etc. are subject to change as extenuating circumstances dictate.

In observation of the 2 main professional sports in Buffalo, the NRD offers a unique hybrid program w/split seasons.The NFFL - Newstead Flag Football League capitalizes on this fall sport.  The season will run November and December.The NSHL - Newstead Street Hockey League commemorates this winter sport.  This season will run January/February.NRD Staff Members serve as coaches, assistants, and referees to promote SFL - Safety, Fun, and Learning!Program terms: Grades, times, etc. are subject to change as extenuating circumstances dictate.

The Aquatics Program provides "open pool time" for the Community -general public, lap swimmers and water aerobic enthusiasts...all under the watchful eye of NRD Lifeguards in the ACS Pool!Program terms: Grades, times, etc. are subject to change as extenuating circumstances dictate.

This program provides youth the chance to enhance their soccer skills in a fun-filled atmosphereunder the guidance of Varsity Players and/or Rec. Dept. Program Attendants.It is for youth just starting out, with in-house experience, or limited travel experience and is geared toward preparing players for house soccer, travel soccer, modified soccer & beyond.  Program terms: Grades, times, etc. are subject to change as extenuating circumstances dictate.

So... Get ready to jump sky high, learn choreographed performances, throw stunts such as extensions and advanced skills, and tumble to your heart’s desire! This 1x event on Monday, January 13th is for members and leaders of Akron Cub Scouts - Pack 531.As participants in the NRD Community Swim Program, registration is required of all scouts/leaders by Monday, January 6th @ 11:59pm.As a courtesy, there will be no registration fee for this one night!

This "Learn to Swim" Program follows the curriculum and guidelines of the American Red Cross.  With instruction, the program challenges swimmers to advance through 6 successive skill levels.This program emphasizes the four NRD cornerstones... "SAFE" - "Safety, Attitude, Fun and Education!"Simply put... Swimming is a life-long skill and critically important, so why not start now?!Program terms: Grades, times, etc. are subject to change as extenuating circumstances dictate.
 
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM    Lacrosse (Boys, Grades K-8) - Boys Lacrosse (Gr K-3)
The Lacrosse Program, coordinated by Coach Jason Pragle and assisted by ACS Varsity Players, carries on a mutually beneficial relationship between the NRD and the TB of >10 years...The program includes: face-offs, passing, shooting, and concludes with fun-filled games!          Grades K-3 will practice/play on Saturdays from 12-1:30pm.          Grades 4-8 will practice/play on Thursdays from 7-9pm.Program terms: Grades, times, etc. are subject to change as extenuating circumstances dictate.

This program provides youth the chance to enhance their soccer skills in a fun-filled atmosphereunder the guidance of Varsity Players and/or Rec. Dept. Program Attendants.It is for youth just starting out, with in-house experience, or limited travel experience and is geared toward preparing players for house soccer, travel soccer, modified soccer & beyond.  Program terms: Grades, times, etc. are subject to change as extenuating circumstances dictate.
 
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM    Volleyball (Co-Ed, Adults ages 16+) - Volleyball
