The Town of Newstead Recreation Department plans to continue its long-standing tradition of patriotism by marching in the 4th of July Parade, a festive celebration of U.S. Independence through the Village of Akron. To support this festive occasion, NRD Youth Members are needed to join NRD Staff Members for the event! Consistent with past protocol, the NRD Team will assemble near the Elementary School and drop in as directed. Marchers are reminded to wear NRD T-Shirts, athletic shorts, sneakers, and to bring sunscreen & H20!
