NRD "Summer 2025" Updates:
The Newstead Town Board has approved the Summer 2025 Recreation Programs.
The Akron Central School District has approved Facility Requests for the programs.
The Summer 2025 Recreation Programs will be held at ACS from 7/1 through 8/8.
Terms of Participation:
Please know that protocols need to be adhered to in order to participate in recreation programs.
As excerpted from the NRD Brochure/Calendars, distributed to all ACS students in grades Pre-K to 7,
The NRD has policies and procedures in place, including Discipline, Incident, and Grievance
to ensure the Safety, Fun, and Learning (SFL) of group participants and other stakeholders.
In summary, participants are responsible for their actions and need to comply with expectations.
Failure to do so may result in time-out, a one day suspension, and/or removal from the program.

As is customary... If ACS is closed/cancelled on any given day, NRD is also cancelled.
Note: If ACS Buildings are open for any business, NRD Programs run as scheduled.
Registration Process:
Registration for Summer 2025 Programs is scheduled to start on Monday, 6/9 @ 8am.
Two options to register for programs are: online via this site or in-line at Town Hall.
There are NO refunds issued for participant cancellations of program registrations.

Data provided (emergency contacts, medical information, etc.) is to help better serve you.
This information will also be automatically placed into your registration forms.
NOTE: For timely communication as circumstances dictate, email/text blasts may be sent.
To receive such blasts... a primary email address and mobile/cell phone number be provided.
